For 50 years, our cooperative preschool has provided the structure to support families dedicated to hands-on involvement with their child's early education. After receiving notice last Fall that we must vacate our classroom at the end of this school year, we initiated an extensive search for a new location. Over the past four months we have been unable to secure a space which meets our current and future program needs. Therefore, Portland Tillamook Cooperative Preschool has decided to permanently close our doors following the end of the 2022-2023 school year. We plan to celebrate the dedication and collaboration of all Tillamook families throughout the years! Please look for more information to come on our closing celebration and final festivities!
If you are a family who completed registration for the 2023-2024 school year, please look for an email from our membership coordinator (membership@tillamookpreschool.org.)

For Tillamook parents, it's not uncommon to hear Teacher Anette listed as one of your child's best friends. Her engaging educational style and ability to relate to people of all ages make her a favorite of kids and parents alike.

Children benefit most when the teacher and parents have an opportunity to work together.

Children can learn and take responsibility for their actions when given clear direction and realistic expectations.

A child’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual development is inter-related; therefore, we seek to educate the whole child.

Children learn best when they actively explore their environment through play.

Children deserve the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace.

Children should be free to explore and make choices.

We must respect our children, their minds and their bodies.
